Help to make your life better at Kingston by being an elected officer

We are looking for 4 new part time officers to help us be your voice on campus. We need people to stand for the following part-time roles:

  • Disabled Students Officer (see if you are eligible*)
  • Students in Professional Practice Officer (see if you are eligible*)
  • International Students Officer (see if you are eligible*)
  • Ethical and Environmental Officer

Nominations are open now and close at noon on October 8th. To nominate yourself all you have to do is read the candidates pack and fill in the nomination form to prove you have read and understood the pack. Nominations can also collected from KUSU Reception at Penrhyn Road

*Eligibility:

  • Disabled Students Officer: You must be registered as a disabled student with Kingston University 
  • Students in Professional Practice Officer : You must be registered on a Kingston University Course that involves Professional Practice
  • International Students Officer: You must be registered with Kingston University as an Overseas or EU domiciled student.

One of the most important decisions you will make before voting is which position you will run for in the election.  Read the role descriptions Here and identify if you are both eligible and interested in the position.  Ask your friends and other students for advice and see what the issues are to help you make your decision.  Mark Horne, KUSU CEO is also available to answer your questions and provide information about running.

Election Campaigning and Voting dates: 15th-19th October, so even if you don’t stand, make sure you vote.
