The Space is the Union’s largest social venue, located next door to the Student shop, on the University’s busiest campus at Penryhn Road. 
 
There is everything you could want within a bright, comfortable and friendly atmosphere to just relax, fill time between lectures, or spend the whole day or night with friends.
 
Year round promotions on beer, wine, alcopops and soft drinks, in addition to our exceptionally priced bar tariffs, making us the cheapest place in town!! Every month look out for our promotions, listed above the bar or featured on your table!
 
Our Wicked coffee selection wont leave a bitter taste in your mouth, the beans are Fairtrade and at £1.30 for a 8oz. or £1.60 for a 12oz. cappuccino, significantly cheaper than some high street imitations, for a doubled-shot, pop in and try for yourself, it’s the most popular coffee on campus for those who know what they like!
 
Our Wicked juices, frappes and smoothies give not only a boost, but can fulfill your 5-a-day and are available all day at exceptional prices. Keep an eye out during your first week with regular sampling sessions around campus.
 
For entertainment there are 3 pool tables, 5 plasma TVs, a big screen and our popular quiz machine. We have a wii, with a selection of games including Mario Kart, and Wii Sports so why not just chill out with your friends and make use of our board games and playing cards. We want to start retro gamimg - we have a Sony Playstation, SNES and N64 with a handful of games, but need a gamesmaster to organise an event, if this is you email me @ address below.
 
If you are a smoker, there is a designated smoking area on the patio, under our jumberella. The rest of the campus is smoke-free.
