► Junction49 (Student-Led Projects)

Student Led Projects

Lots of students come up with fantastic campaigns and community projects while they're at university. Some of them have even won prizes for them!  We can help support you in a community project or campaign and can even provide funding to help get your idea off the ground.

Junction49 is a ground breaking initiative set up by the national volunteering charity ‘TimeBank’ that provides support for young people across the country to set up their community projects. Working in partnership with Junction49, KUSU Volunteering aims to give students to make their ideas a reality!

To find out more about running your own project while at Kingston, email Martin on junction49@kingston.ac.uk or check out the fantastic Junction49 website at www.junction49.co.uk.

This is a great opportunity for you to set up and lead your own volunteering project. It can be a one-off project so it does not need to take up all your time. It will not only allow you to do something pro-active about a issue you feel passionately about but will also equip you with great leadership and project planning skills.

Projects are eligible for up to £500 to fund setting up and running costs.
