Volunteer Coordinator (Projects)
Salary: £20 – £22K
Hours: 35 a week
Kingston University Students’ Union are seeking a new staff member to continue developing participation in Community volunteering projects for students studying at Kingston University. The purpose of the post is to support students in the development, promotion, delivery and review of their own community projects tackling issues they feel passionately about. In addition the role involves developing and promoting a range of short term or one-off voluntary opportunities.
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual, who works well as part of a team or on their own. They will have significant experience of working with volunteers and a thorough understanding of best practice in volunteer management. Their experience will help us as we work towards Investors in Volunteers accreditation.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable record of motivating and empowering volunteers and will have experience of delivering training. Confident and resourceful, you will have sound judgement and the ability to handle competing priorities and a challenging workload.
