Sufism the knowledge of the self that leads to the knowledge of God.
Sufism is the way of love, a way of devotion and a way of knowledge. It is the way of the Prophets. It has existed since the beginning of human history, for its seed lies within every human heart .In each age God has sent Prophets to lead people to the knowledge of the ‘him’- Mohammad, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha and Jesus to name just a few. Each prophet has brought humanity a unique instruction to be learned and mastered in order to progress on the inward journey towards God.
Sufism represents a method that reconciles individuals with their real value. It trains individuals to develop their creative abilities so that they may benefit from all the resources provided by nature, and gain access to the true source of contentment, productivity, satisfaction and empowerment. Sufism is not about human doing. It is about discovering the reality of the human being, the real being that you cannot see unless you remove the veil of ignorance through purification. Sufism answers the ultimate questions of life, who we are, where we come from and where we are going.
Through practical methods of Sufism such as concentration, meditation – which is known as Tamarkoz, self-discipline, purification and prayer this journey, can be accomplished. This inner journey transforms human beings and deepens their level of awareness until one moves from an egoistic consciousness to awareness of the soul and spirit and therefore to oneness with the true reality.
