► How to get to the Sports Venues

Sports Facilities

KUSU Sports Club uses a variety of facilities both within and outside the Kingston community. We have great relationships with the other local educational institutions with many of our indoor activities taking place at Kingston College’s Arena and Tiffin Boys School Sports Centre. Many of our outdoor competitive sports use the University owned Tolworth Court. Over the last few years the University have made significant improvements to the grass pitches and laid two new, high quality cricket squares. Most recently, the University has invested in a new, state-of-the-art sports pavilion at the ground. Set over two floors, the new pavilion has 14 team changing rooms (each with their own shower areas), officials changing areas, a first-aid room, a social area with roof terrace and office space.

The new pavilion is fully accessible and makes use of various ‘green’ technologies to minimise its environmental impact (including use of solar thermal panels and a ground source heat pump).

As the ground is heavily used by both the University and by local clubs and teams, the University has also improved ancillary facilities at the ground. Additional car parking has been built including spaces for minibuses and coaches and bicycle racks have been installed to improve overall access to the facilities.
