► About Volunteering

Volunteering is your chance to really stand out from the crowd by joining the hundreds of students getting involved every year in valuable and rewarding opportunities in the local community.

We have volunteering opportunities available in many different local organisations, including schools, day centres, charities, and environmental projects. You can choose from a wide range of activities, from working with children, adults or animals, to practical hands on work or office based roles. Whether you want to volunteer once or twice through one-off projects or make a regular commitment, we can find the right opportunity for you. We will also support you in every stage of your volunteering and can provide you with any necessary training.
