► How to Get Involved
How to Get Involved
1. The first step to getting involved with volunteering is to have a look at our pages about the four areas of volunteering: one-off volunteering, community volunteering, schools volunteering and Student Led Projects.
2. Once you’ve found something which interests you, the next step is registering as a volunteer. We know Kingston students are busy and one of the things that can put you off getting involved is the prospect of lots of admin. That’s why we keep it as short as possible whilst still collecting all the vital information we need to help pair you with the right volunteering activity.
3. You can register at an individual appointment, at a group session if there's one coming up (if there is, we'll put times and dates below) or at one of our regular drop in sessions in the KUSU offices every Tuesday 1-2pm. To save yourself time you can fill in our paperwork in advance. Download it from here and return it to volunteering@kingston.ac.uk or print it yourself and bring it with you. If you email it to us, we’ll be in touch to arrange a time for you to register. If you need the application form in a different format just email or give us a call.
Group registrations update:
Our drop-in registration sessions take place weekly on Tuesdays at 1pm.
You'll find us in the meeting room in the KUSU Offices (click for Campus map - we're number 2!)
