From the day I moved to Kingston I have been involved with Kingston University Students’ Union (I spent my own Freshers’ Week pulling pints behind Space bar at Penrhyn Road – my first shift was two hours after dad dropped me into halls!) and thanks to KUSU I have made more friends and had more fun than through any other part of my university experience.
Now, I have a chance to offer the same opportunity to you! Throughout your time at Kingston, I will be the voice of you, your friends, your flatmates. Have you got something to say? I want to hear it! I am the link between you and your Union, and the tool to ensure you have access to all the information you need, whether it be face-to-face or at the click of a mouse. I’ll be here to let you know what events are going on around campus and at your Union bars, and what KUSU are doing to make life better for you. From an academic viewpoint I’ll be on hand to point you in the direction of people who can give you advice and representation if you need it – no problem is too great or too small.
Whether you fancy writing for Fresh magazine, getting involved with the launch of our TV channel or becoming a DJ on our new radio station, get in touch with me and I can make it happen. I want you to love your time at Kingston as much as I have. Mostly I am here to make sure you know that KUSU belongs to you – and together we can make it brilliant.

If you're interested in writing for FRESH Magazine then don't hesistate to drop me an e-mail! Let me know what sort of thing you'd like to write, what course you do and what year you are in.
The magazine is open to contributers from across the university, no matter what course you study. No previous experience is neccessary and the only prerequsite is a strong work ethic and a desire to make the publication the best that it can be.
